Application: used in the synthesis of polyimide monomers such as 3,3’,4,4’-biphenyl tetracarboxylic diandhydride (BPDA), 3,3',4,4'-diphenyloxide tetracarboxylic dianhydride (ODPA), hydroquinone diphthalic anhydride (HQDPA), 3,3’,4,4’-thiodiphthalic anhydride (TDPA), and 3,3',4,4'- Diphenylsulfone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (DSDA), etc..
Used in the synthesis of anthraquinone and phthalocyanine dyes, plant growth regulators, herbicides, anti-oxidants, germicides, anthelmintics, antihyperglycemic drugs and anti- spasmodics, new organic materials with magnetism and fluorescence, etc..
